Small corn snake. On the road near the Okefenokee Swamp in SE Georgia 10:00pm on 18 July 2007. |

Photographed in north Florida, near Perry, on 6 November 2007 at 11:18am.
This snake is more brown than what I am accustomed to seeing. Maybe four feet long (and skinny). These are the first two photos on my website taken with a digital camera -- a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8. |

| The next two photos of the same rat snake. I took them on 10 Jan 2008 at about 1:20pm at Reed Bingham State Park in south central Georgia. This is about a three-fout snake. |

Photo taken with 135mm lens on extension tube, flash |
This is a very small corn snake, maybe 20 inches. Photo was taken on a road just after sunset. |
| The snake had extended the front part of his body over the water in a canal. Maybe he was fishing. This is not a safe place for a snake because there are alligators in the canal. I got several photos before he fled in panic. The snake fled away from the canal; it did not swim across. |
