Captive California Kingsnake Lampropeltis getula
This is a California Kingsnake which my nephew captured and is
now keeping as a pet.
The California Kingsnake is a subspecies of the Common Kingsnake.
The Eastern Kingsnake, of which I have a photo in my snakes of
Florida and Georgia section, is also a subspecies of the Common
Kingsnake.

Tarantula
I found this crossing Lovell Canyon Road which is 24 miles west of the Silverton Hotel in Las Vegas on highway 160. I received an email from someone who said he was 50% sure that this is a mature male Aphonopelma palladium. (He was 100% sure of the genus and sex.) |
